Meeting our initial goal on Kickstarter for The Bible Experiment has allowed us to book the next live show in the Bible Series. I am excited to announce that we will be doing the story of Genesis on November 22 at The Aronoff Center in downtown Cincinnati.

We’re serious about taking these stories of faith onto professional stages in the heart of America’s cities. The Aronoff Center is the perfect place to do this show. We’ve already begun some initial brainstorming and writing. I can’t wait to see what it becomes.

Genesis is gritty. It tells the story of our beginnings—the good, bad, ugly and unexplainable. The creation account is beautiful and poetic. Noah is both dramatic and somewhat troubling. Abraham’s story is foundational to all the monotheistic religions. Jacob and Esau is the stuff of soap operas. Joseph is the ultimate hero’s journey. It’s one of the greatest and earliest stories ever told. We’re going to tell it again … in a totally different way. There’s humor, drama and intrigue … and there’s a deeper message of the battle between light and darkness. It starts with “let there be light” and shows us that we’ve been searching for that light ever since. I hope you will join us.

The only way to reserve tickets now is by backing the Kickstarter campaign at the $75 level or above. This gives you the reward of 2 VIP tickets. We’re also happy to announce that we’ve arranged to have a Kickstarter Backer-Only After Party at the black box theater at The Aronoff. This event will include Q&A with the storyteller, refreshments and some other surprises.

Only Kickstarter backers will receive invites to the after party.

Any tickets remaining for the Genesis show after the Kickstarter campaign will be made available in August.

To secure your seats now go to www.BibleExperiment.com and pledge at the $75 level or above (or you can adjust your pledge if you are already a backer.)

For those of you who have backed this, you are the reason this show exists!

Thank you!

If you haven’t backed yet, we have a big vision stretch goal to take the Gospel of John show to 10 cities nationwide and launch the pilot program of a Story Camp for teens in 2015. We simply can’t do this with what we have pledged now, so please join us and set our stories free … starting November 22 in Cincinnati at The Aronoff.

Please share this on social media and email your friends. We only have 19 more days to invite people into this campaign. They will want to say they were with us in the beginning … see what I did there?
