Today’s deed was super easy and super satisfying.

Today’s good deed: LEAVE A BIG TIP

I got a foot massage today. I needed it. I’ve been standing on my feet for 10 hours a day, five days a week for a month now. My dogs are not only barking, they’re fighting, howling at the moon, and peeing on the carpet.

I’ve been hitting up Groupon to find massage deals in my neighborhood. Don’t get me wrong, I love the total spa experience of places like Burke Williams, but sometimes I just need the cheap, 60-minute, in and out. That’s right … I said it.

It can be risky going with Groupon though. Occasionally I’ve gotten some great deals, but bad masseuses. One guy was so bad he yawned no less than 10 times during my massage and treated my body like he was kneading tough pumpernickel dough.

The massage I had today, though, was great. All the while, those old Yoplait yogurt commercials kept playing through my head.

“This is like … Mom’s-Christmas-Dinner good.”

“Like … Get-Out-Of-A-Speeding-Ticket good.”

“Like … Punch-A-Mime-In-The-Face good.”

They didn’t make that commercial, but they should have.

My masseuse was sweet, kind, and hard working. I left feeling lighter than when I arrived. The massage was cheap, but I didn’t have to be. I left a 50% tip.

“It was like … Get-A-Big-Tax-Refund good.”

“Like … Seeing-Guardians-Of-The-Galaxy-For-Free good.”

“Like … Leave-A-Big-Tip good.”

So I did.

Ms. Walker made her acting debut at the tender age of 8 in For Spring is the Season of Happiness. She almost turned down the role of Mother Nature (she wanted the role of "Spring") until she found out Mother Nature had the most lines. On that day, a diva was born. Holly has traveled the world performing comedy. She has been to more than 40 U.S. states and over 30 countries worldwide. She is an alum of the improvisational companies Boom Chicago and The Second City. Holly currently works on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore as a writer and performer.
