I was photographing a wedding in downtown Milwaukee when this image appeared to me. Guests were just starting to arrive and I had a few minutes to take a short break at the back of the church and check on some of my equipment. While I was back there I saw a family member arrive and take a seat in a pew towards the back. He started praying, for the couple and their marriage I am assuming. He stayed there and prayed for a number of minutes before joining the rest of the guests. A simple reminder to me that we don’t always see those who are looking out for us and keeping us in their thoughts and prayers.
