000I appreciate this 15-year-old ‘Brown Eyed Handsome Man.’ He lives in a ceaseless state of music. It flows through him like the mighty Ohio—never ceasing. His spirit is sanguine. His eyes are welcoming. His smile lights a room. He is my son.
Mason recently stated that our time to experience music together on a daily basis is fleeting since college is only a few years away. He agrees that it is a special bond we share and desires to take advantage of the benefits life offers. He’s asked for us to try to do more, experience more and create more. This is the road we are on and I’m proud to travel with him.

Chris Taylor
A Side of Taylors is a Cincinnati-based Americana/folk duo that consists of father-and-son Mason (15 years old) and Chris Taylor. They have been playing together over the past 6 years and are quite comfortable performing around fruits and vegetables as they cut their teeth doing gigs at local Farmer’s Markets. When joined by the rest of the family they quickly grow to six and combine sweet harmonies and warm emotions. Mason and Chris are passionate in developing as performers and songwriters and are grateful to share their journey with others.
